Water sufficiently for keeping the soil moist and let it dry a bit between watering during the water.

Indian Basil

Also called Tulsi, this plant can grow even without minimal maintenance. It has some medicinal properties. Moreover, it helps in purifying the air and enhancing air quality. The plant can be planted in a simple pot. Therefore, the ideal place for keeping the plant is a sunny window. You only need to water the plant regularly and watch it grow. 

Aloe Vera

These plants grow best in a dry, warm instead of a wet and cold environment. Therefore, water the plant only when the pot is dry. The best place for keeping the plant is a sunny window. It won’t thrive in full shade. In case, you have repotted the plant, don’t water it for two to three days. Let its roots settle.

Lady’s Slipper Orchard

If you are looking for a plant that can add life to a dull corner of your house, then this is an ideal option for you. The plant has unique, slipper-shaped flowers that bloom in between two leaves. The plant has dark green leaves that enhance its beauty. You need to take special care while watering it. If you use chemically treated water, let it sit for some days before you start using it. Water the plant once a week. Place it in a shade where it is not exposed to direct sunlight

Snake Plant

This plant is ideal for keeping in bathrooms as it filters out formaldehyde, which is found in most personal care products. The plant has been identified as one of the top air-purifying plants by NASA. It grows easily without the need for any extra attention. You can neglect it for weeks and yet it will give you long, fresh leaves. The only thing which you should be concerned about is that the plant can rot easily. Therefore, it needs to be planted in free-draining soil.
